Fall is “national rankings” season in higher ed, and right out of the chute, we’ve got a good one: Baylor now ranks among the top 10 universities in the nation when it comes to social media engagement!

After ranking No. 12 nationally two years ago and No. 11 overall last year, Baylor moved up to No. 8 in the nation this year — just behind Georgia and South Carolina, and just ahead of Clemson — in a comprehensive ranking of higher ed social media efforts. Baylor remains the best in the Big 12 for the third straight year, and is one of just seven schools to have ranked in the top 20 each of the last three years.

The folks behind the survey, RivalIQ, commended Baylor social media for its celebration of both academic and athletic successes. They also recognized Baylor’s success on TikTok, where the university has been having a lot of fun showing off student life. The honor once again speaks both to the quality of what Baylor’s social media team is posting, and to how engaged the Baylor Family remains with the university — even long after graduation. Such continued success wouldn’t be possible if it weren’t for you — so keep posting those pictures, sharing those stories, and letting everyone in your social media orbit see why you’re so #BaylorProud.

(And if you don’t already, follow Baylor on your favorite social media platforms. Don’t forget to follow @BaylorProud on Twitter, too!)

    Sic ’em, Bears!
