• ‘A Baylor Christmas’ brings holiday musical performance to the entire Baylor family

    A Baylor Christmas 2016

For nearly 50 years, the combined choirs and orchestra of Baylor’s School of Music have heralded the arrival of Christmas with joyful worship during Christmas on 5th Street. This hour-long program, “A Baylor Christmas,” is typically sold out, meaning most Bears don’t get to experience the warm, beautiful music celebrating the birth of Christ.

But for the third year in a row, their concert will reach Bears beyond campus, thanks to a partnership with KWTX and its parent company. On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, the program will air on stations across Texas and in 12 other states; click here for complete listings.

“A Baylor Christmas” features a beautiful candlelight processional and such traditional Christmas carols as “Away in the Manger,” “The First Nowell,” and “Angels We Have Heard on High.” For a little preview, check out last year’s concert.

    Sic ’em, Baylor music students!
