  • Baylor entrepreneurship program ranked No. 2 in the nation

September 24, 2010 // Posted In Academics, Honors

Princeton Review Best 2010 Entrepreneurial CollegesA quick look through the Baylor Proud archives will find that the entrepreneurship program in Baylor’s Hankamer School of Business is one of our more frequent subjects — and with good reason. After all, it’s one of the very best in the nation; Entrepreneur Magazine and The Princeton Review just ranked BU’s program No. 2 in the country out of more than 2,000 institutions in its 2010 assessment.

The entrepreneurship program has consistently marched upward in Entrepreneur’s rankings, from placing 23rd three years ago to 12th in 2008 and No. 4 nationally in 2009. It’s also fared well in other publications, from BusinessWeek to U.S. News.

And those aren’t the program’s only honors. In just the last two years, a Baylor professor was named the national Entrepreneurship Teacher of the Year, a Baylor publication was found to be the most widely-respected entrepreneurship journal in the field, and a Baylor graduate was named one of the 2009 Ernst & Young Entrepreneurs Of The Year.

    Sic ’em, Baylor entrepreneurs!
