Freshman named one of ABC’s Persons of the Year

You might remember our stories this spring about Kristin Elliott, at the time a high school senior preparing to enroll at Baylor. Kristin was named ABC World News Tonight’s Person of the Week back in May after the network learned of her battle with cancer and her work to start an AIDS orphans house in Zambia. Next spring, the Baylor University Men’s Choir is headed to Argentina for a mission trip, where they will sing before all new audiences (in addition to performing service work) while experiencing a new culture themselves.
