For the 20th time in 23 seasons, Baylor men’s tennis is headed to the Sweet 16!

Head coach Michael Woodson’s Bears — the No. 3 overall seed in this year’s NCAA tournament — got there by sweeping Abilene Christian on Friday, 4-0, and then fending off No. 25 Texas A&M on Saturday, 4-2.

Baylor has now won nine straight matches since their last loss, a 4-3 defeat at the hands of then-No. 3 TCU — a result the Bears avenged in the finals of the Big 12 tournament when they upset the No. 1-ranked Horned Frogs to claim the 25th Big 12 title in program history.

Next up? Baylor will host No. 18 Stanford at 6:30 p.m. on Friday at the Hurd Tennis Center. A win would advance the Bears to the Elite Eight for the 15th time in program history.

    Sic ’em, Baylor tennis!
