#Baylor175: Adam & Cassidy Smith (both BBA ’07, MACC ’07)
What does your Baylor experience mean to you?
Him: “Our first picture together was over there at the bonfire in 2003, and the fire was in the background. Then our senior year, 2007, I proposed on the Suspension Bridge and then we walked over and had the bonfire after that and recreated the picture. Now we’re back with three kids.”
Her: “”I think I’ve only ever missed Homecoming when I was, like, due with a child the next week. … I actually started hanging out with [Adam] at our first homecoming, and so it’s always kind of been a landmark occasion for our relationship. We invited professors to our wedding. When I tell that to people who go to bigger schools, they don’t understand. They’re like, ‘Wait, what do you mean you actually know your professors on a personal level?’ So we always say Baylor Family, because it’s so true for us, and no matter where you go, you find somebody from Baylor and it is like family.”
