Like #BaylorHomecoming? Then check out Baylor’s first Green and Gold Weekend
For years, many Baylor Bears have wished Homecoming could come more than once a year. If that’s you, your wish has been granted.
Four weeks from today — April 20-22 — Baylor will host its first Green and Gold Weekend, full of sporting events, concerts, and other fun opportunities for the entire Baylor Family. Here’s a look at just some of the events planned for the weekend:
If you like watching sports, you can look forward to:
- Baylor football’s Green and Gold spring game
- The NCEA national equestrian championships
- Track hosting the Michael Johnson Invitational
- Baseball (vs. TCU), softball (vs. Kansas) and men’s tennis (vs. Texas)
There are plenty of other campus activities:
- Baylor Fling, a biennial two-day event for women
- Armstrong Browning Library’s annual Browning Day celebration
- The President’s Concert, plus a special performance by the Women’s Choir and Bella Voce
- Mayborn Museum (and it’s special “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” exhibit)
- A Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors concert, benefitting St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital
Waco will also be bustling with special activities:
- Gut Pak Run (a run Saturday morning that, yes, includes eating one of Vitek’s famous Gut Paks)
- Human Race Waco (a triathlon/5K in downtown Waco)
- Brazos Night concert, featuring Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and the California Honey Drops
- Waco Downtown Farmers Market
And that’s not even a complete list! Check out the complete schedule, and bookmark baylor.edu/greenandgold for all the details. See you here in Waco next month!
