“The thing that stands out to me the most about Baylor is how often I’m able to interact with my professors. It’s rare in engineering that an undergraduate student can work as a part of a research team, and I’ve been able to do that. And it’s not like I’m the only one; I’m not a special case. A lot of undergraduate engineering students are able to work with their professors on their research projects — and not just be in the room, but actually contribute and collect data, actually be a part of the process.

“It’s huge for my career path. It gives me a little experience, and kind of perfectly sets me up for the next stage after college when I graduate in May, whether I go to graduate school or get a job, whichever I choose.
