• Four sisters — Classes of ’05, ’10, ’13, and ’21 — all choose Baylor

    4 Baylor Stone Sisters

In 2001, it was time for a teenaged Natalie Stone to choose a college. The choice was simple for her; because of its legacy and Christ-centered education, Baylor had topped her list since the 5th grade. Then, after watching Natalie (BA ’05) thrive in her college years, younger sister Emily (BA ’10) decided she wanted the Baylor experience, too. Three years after that, Abigail (BA ’13) — the third Stone sister — decided she wanted to follow in her sisters’ footsteps and be a Baylor Bear.

This coming fall, Elizabeth, the youngest of the four Stone sisters, will be attending — you guessed it — Baylor.

Since she was 4 years old, Elizabeth knew she wanted to go to Baylor. At that point, it was practically a family tradition to attend Baylor. But even more than that, it was the Baylor spirit that pulled Elizabeth. Her first memories of campus are from the day Natalie moved into Collins Residence Hall, getting the full Baylor Move-In experience. She spent the next 14 years watching her three big sisters become active on campus, perform in Sing, and run the Baylor Line before football games. She wanted all of that, too.

“We are from a town of just a little over 2,000 people in East Texas,” says Emily. “I think our parents are really proud that their hard work has enabled us to attend a wonderful university that helped to shape three of us (and counting) into strong women.”

Today, Natalie (now Natalie Stone Tate) is assistant vice president at Randolph Brook Federal Credit Union in San Antonio, overseeing web development, user experience and digital initiatives. Emily (now Emily Stone May) is a digital marketing manager at an energy analytics software company in Dallas. Abigail is currently traveling and dreams of using her film and digital media degree to take the film industry by storm.

“I know that going to Baylor has given me my best friends and the most unbelievably wonderful memories of my entire life, and I know my sisters Natalie and Abigail feel the same way,” Emily says. “We are all so excited for Elizabeth to start Baylor in the fall.”

    Sic ’em, Stone sisters!
