• #BearsOfBaylor — “I really wanted to make sure my pre-med track was focused around people…”

“I really wanted to make sure my pre-med track was focused around people and not so much the sciences, so I added public health to make sure I’m learning more about the people and the interactions and the health aspects of pre-med.

“I really was interested in oncology when I first came to Baylor, and I still really am. I feel like cancer is one of those things that is always evolving and changing depending on the person. And if we can really start to research and get our hand on it now, it’ll be so much easier when new technologies come out that will help us define what cancer is, try to make it more manageable and less expensive, and possibly even cure it. That’s the dream.”
