“I did my undergrad here at Baylor — anthropology and journalism news-ed — and then I started working for the Texas Hunger Initiative. It kind of put me in a whole different direction. For so long, I thought I wanted to go into a magazine and do reporting, and now, working for a non-profit, I really love the non-profit world. I want to work for an internationally-focused non-profit, and international journalism seems like a perfect fit. … I think it’s combining all of those interests into one.”
