Something for everyone at Baylor
As a student at Baylor, I was overwhelmed by the number and variety of extracurricular activities offered, on campus and off. In addition to the posted fliers and the sidewalk chalking that still goes on, today’s students receive a weekly e-mail newsletter called “On the Baylor Horizon” that lets them know of events going on all over campus, from athletics to speakers to mixers. Here’s a sampling of what’s included in the most recent edition:
- Wesley Foundation Hosting Fall Kick-Off Free Fellowship Lunch
- Indian Subcontinent Student Association Mixer
- Baylor Fencing Club Interest Meeting
- Battle of the Bands Registration
- Habitat for Humanity Meetings
- Baylor Sailing Club Interest Meeting
- Baylor’s Martin Museum of Art Exhibitions September 4-11
- Student Government Applications Currently Being Accepted
- Baylor Athletics Hosting Football, Volleyball, Soccer
Seems like there’s certainly something for everyone there. And that’s just week two of the semester!
