Baylor named a ‘Best Buy’ for sixth straight year

Once again, an outside source has weighed the cost of attending Baylor against the benefits and recognized BU’s value. For the sixth year in a row, The Fiske Guide to Colleges 2012 has named Baylor a “best buy” — one of just 43 colleges and universities in the country to be so honored.

Baylor is one of just two Big 12 schools to make the list. The state of Texas is well represented, as Baylor, Rice, Texas Tech and Trinity all made the list for 2012, but no school in the state has made more consecutive appearances among Fiske’s best buys than Baylor.

With the university continually working to improve its academic status and increase its scholarship offerings through efforts like the President’s Scholarship Initiative, even as the cost of higher education continues to rise across the board, Baylor should remain a great value for years to come.
