Follow ‘BaylorUniversity’ on Instagram

I hope that you’ll be among the thousands of Baylor alums returning to campus this weekend for Homecoming. On the other hand, obviously not everyone can make it back as often as they’d like.

Thankfully, the Internet (and specifically social media) continues to make it easier than ever for us here on campus to bring Baylor to you. You want to keep up with BU via Facebook? No problem. Twitter? Follow @Baylor, @BaylorProud, @BaylorAthletics and plenty of other official accounts. YouTube? Check. Pinterest? You bet.

Baylor’s latest leap into social media is via Instagram, a mobile app built around photo sharing. Baylor Photography is daily sharing photos of life around campus: athletic events, shots of our beautiful campus, students on the move, etc. To follow along, download the free Instagram app (available for iOS and Android users), then use it to search for “bayloruniversity” and click “follow.” The app makes it easy for you to like, comment on and tweet your favorite photos. (You can also see the photos online at baylor.edu/instagram.)

It’s not the same as being on campus — nothing can replace the experience of an in-person visit — but it’s the next best thing.

And as you tweet or Instagram this weekend, don’t forget to use the “#BUHC12” hashtag!
