• ATO national fraternity honors Baylor chapter as best in the nation

Baylor ATO named top chapterFor what is believed to be the first time in school history, a national fraternal organization honored its Baylor chapter as the best in the country.

Earlier this month, the Alpha Tau Omega (ATO) national fraternity named the Baylor group the top chapter in the country. The BU chapter beat out more than 250 other chapters for the award; recent winners include Alabama, Emory, Maryland and Kansas State.

Nationally, ATO ranks among the top 10 fraternities in number of chapters and total members. At Baylor, ATO can trace its heritage back to a Circle-K social service men’s organization that began in 1953. In the past year alone, the group had the highest GPA of any Greek organization on the BU campus, won the Abner McCall Award for Outstanding Service (based on its volunteer efforts), and earned its seventh straight Pigskin Revue appearance.

    Sic ’em, Baylor ATO!
