With the economy down, it’s more important than ever that students (and their parents) find the best value possible when selecting a university. That’s why I was glad to read this morning that for the second year in a row, Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine has named Baylor among its top 50 “Best Values in Private Colleges and Universities.”
Even better: In what’s really the bottom line — total cost — Baylor was the nation’s second most affordable university among the nation’s top 50 private schools (again for the second year in a row). Total cost factored in tuition, books, fees, and room and board — the big costs one can expect for a year of college.
As we’ve noted before, it’s nice to see people outside the University recognizing the value of a Baylor education.
