• Bowled over at Baylor

United States Bowling CongressGrowing up, bowling has always been a nice fall-back option for a family event when we couldn’t think of anything else to do. My parents bowled in a league before I was born (my mom’s garage is lined with old trophies), my wife and I went bowling almost weekly while we were dating, and we went bowling with some friends from church just last week.

Baylor freshman Kyle Kahlden has taken it a lot further than any of that. Kahlden, a biology major from Houston, was named one of two 2008 USBC Stars of Tomorrow by the United States Bowling Congress, given to high school or college students who distinguish themselves in the bowling alley, in the classroom and in the community.

If you’re around campus, stop by the SUB’s bowling alley; maybe you’ll find Kahlden there!

    Sic ’em, Kyle!
