#BearsOfBaylor — “I can stand on my own now because of everything I’ve done at Baylor.”
[We interviewed you last fall! What’s changed for you since then?]
“My confidence in myself. I was always confident in myself, but I wasn’t always sure I’d be ready to graduate. You know what? Waking up this morning, I was. It felt right. I have the confidence I’ll be able to support myself and do well in the world.”
[What would you tell your freshman self?]
“Have fun. Be Brave. You’re going to do well. Trust the path that you’re on.”
[Would she listen to you?]
“She’d be a little stubborn, she might take a little convincing. In the end, she probably would.”
[How has Baylor prepared you for the life you’re about to embark on?]
“It’s given me a strong standing. Academically… but also morally, with my faith, and emotionally. I just feel like I’m on firm ground; I can stand on my own now because of everything I’ve done at Baylor.”
[Every Baylor Bear has a story; #BearsOfBaylor brings those stories to you, one by one. These stories, these people… This is our Baylor.]
