• Baylor Football season opener to debut a litany of ‘Fan First’ updates

Fans sailgate in a boat outside McLane Stadium

We’re less than a month from Baylor Football’s 2026 home opener (Sept. 12 vs. Prairie View A&M, 7 p.m.) — and fans at McLane will find a host of improvements to the gameday experience this fall.

Those begin even before you leave home:

Tailgating updates aim to energize pregame activities, including:

    Then there’s the in-stadium experience:

And special promotions for individual games already include these highlights (with more to come):

“Both growing up and over the past seven years, I was what you are: a fan,” says Baylor Director of Athletics Doug McNamee (BA ’03, MSED ’05). “In this era of college athletics, it seems every constituency is considered a priority except the fans, and that is a mistake. Without your passion, support, and the sacrifice you make to buy tickets and get to games, everything that’s special about college athletics stops. There are plenty of options to spend your time and money on, but you choose to do so with us. As such, our commitment is to put the fans first and never neglect that trust you place on us.”

Now, it’s our turn. Season and single-game tickets are available now; see you at McLane this fall!

    Sic ’em, Baylor Football!
