  • Looking back at Baylor concerts in 2025, and ahead at 2026

January 20, 2026 // Posted In Just for Fun, Photo Galleries, Videos

Fans take a selfie at a concert in Foster Pavilion

It’s hard to believe that Foster Pavilion only just hosted its first public concert last April — just nine months ago — and yet, such events at Foster (and elsewhere) now feel like a regular part of campus life.

Let’s take a look back at some of 2025’s headlining concerts on Baylor’s campus — and then ahead at what’s in store for 2026:

Forrest Frank (BBA ’17) got us started on the right foot in April, bringing his infectious energy back to his alma mater as Foster’s first ticketed concert.

35,000 country music fans packed McLane Stadium in August for The Boys From Oklahoma Texas Encore, featuring Cross Canadian Ragweed, Turnpike Troubadours, Wade Bowen, Shane Smith and the Saints, and American Aquarium:

GRAMMY winner Lauren Daigle was a highlight of Baylor Family Weekend in September:

A week later, breakout country star Ty Myers headlined Howdy at the Hurd 2025, co-hosted by Pi Beta Phi:

Four decades after he first won After Dark, legendary ventriloquist (and Baylor alum) Jeff Dunham (BA ’86) brought his comedy to Foster in October:

Later in the month, rising country star Tucker Wetmore had the Foster crowd two-steppin’:

And in November, world-renowned trumpeter Wynton Marsalis spoke at Baylor’s Beall-Russell Lecture, then joined the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra in performing at Waco Hall:

So what does 2026 have in store for entertainment at Baylor? Plenty.

The Harlem Globetrotters will play Foster Pavilion for the first time next month. April features two shows: comedian John Crist at Waco Hall, and fast-rising Texas country music star Hudson Westbrook at Foster Pavilion. And then in July, chart-topping Norteño artists La Fiera de Ojinaga and Los Pescadores del Río Conchos will headline Foster.

Tickets for each event are on sale now (Foster Pavilion and Waco Hall).

And there’s still more to come for 2026! Stay tuned to Baylor social media accounts and @FosterPavilion on Instagram, Facebook and X for those updates.

    Sic ’em, Bears!
