Baylor again recognized as a ‘Best Value’ by U.S. News & World Report
Among the most discussed rankings in all of higher education is U.S News & World Report’s “Best College Rankings,” and Baylor is consistently ranked among the very best schools in the nation.
But there’s more than just the general college ranking for the Baylor Family to take pride in. Once again this year, Baylor received high marks as a Best Value School — recognized for the return on investment BU students receive.
In fact, Baylor leads the entire Big 12 (and ranks second in Texas) in this year’s “Best Value” rankings. College and universities are evaluated based on academic quality, net cost of attendance, and financial aid numbers; all told, Baylor comes in at No. 82 nationally. (A few others schools’ “Best Value” rankings for comparison: Texas A&M ranks 89th, TCU 96th, SMU 158th, and UT 186th.)
So, what makes Baylor’s value stand out? You could point to any number of reasons: the amazing first year-experience, the rare combination of both excellent teaching and research opportunities for undergrads, the caring community Baylor offers — and so much more. We know that Baylor isn’t inexpensive, and that many families and students work hard to make their Baylor experience a reality. But these lists are a little reminder that Bears truly get back what they put into the experience — and then some.
Sic ’em, Bears!
