• #BearsOfBaylor — “All of this seems confusing, but it’ll all sort itself out and you’ll understand.”

“I’m a senior biomedical engineering major. I have all sorts of questions about what next year will look like, but I’m not scared about it. I’m going to go to law school; the question is which one, and what my options will be. I have thought a little bit about Baylor Law School, but I haven’t applied places yet. I’m gonna wait and see what all my options are before I make my decision.”

[What advice would you give your freshman self?]

“I think I would tell myself, ‘All of this seems confusing, but it’ll all sort itself out and you’ll understand.’ Because, going through freshman year, I feel like a lot of freshmen — including myself — feel like, ‘Oh my goodness, I barely know my way around the campus, much less how I’m going to do in my classes and how I’m going to make friends.’ Just the overwhelmingness of it. I’d just reassure myself that, all of this, you do get used to it, and you do sort this all out.”
