• Nursing school dedicates new Success Center in Dallas

Louise Herrington School of Nursing Success CenterHaving seen the difference that Baylor’s Paul L. Foster Success Center has made for students here in Waco, the University’s Louise Herrington School of Nursing (located in Dallas) recognized that their students could also benefit from such a set-up. Friday, that desire became a reality as the nursing school dedicated the Barnabas Success Center and the Diane Roose Brinkman Study Room. (Click here for a photo gallery from the event.)

“I can think of no better birthday present for our students than the gift of success,” said Dean Judy Lott; Baylor’s School of Nursing is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. Nursing school administrators worked closely with staff from the Foster Success Center to re-create those things that would translate to the Dallas campus — things like quiet study areas, individual testing sites and free tutoring services. Such offerings have made the Foster Success Center a, well, success here since it opened two years ago.
