Baylor family to be well-represented in Presidential search
In reading this morning’s announcement from the Board of Regents of the formation of a Presidential Search Committee and a Presidential Search Advisory Committee, I’m happy to see that every aspect of the Baylor family will have input in selecting Baylor’s 14th president.
The Baylor Alumni Association, Faculty Senate, Staff Council and Student Government each recommended specific people to serve on the advisory committee. Four professors, two alumni, one staff member and one student were selected to serve and will be joined by a BGCT/Texas Baptists representative and a Waco community leader to give voices to those constituencies as well.
In addition to those representative voices, Baylor is also asking for direct input from all those who love Baylor — alumni, faculty, staff, students, parents and other friends of the University. Share your thoughts about what Baylor should be looking for in its next president, then bookmark http://www.baylor.edu/president/search and check back in the future for updates on the process.
Sic ’em, Baylor family!
