Donors honor loved ones with gifts to Baylor
With only two days ’til Christmas, hopefully you’ve finished up your Christmas shopping by now. But if you’re still trying to come up with the perfect gift for that Baylor Bear in your life who is so hard to shop for, how about giving to the University in honor of your loved one?
Interestingly, even as shoppers spend an average of $1,000 each year on Christmas gifts, December is consistently the month when the largest number of online gifts are made to the University. Many year-end donors choose to give in memory or in honor of loved ones or members of the Baylor family who have touched their lives.
As we near the end of 2008, I want to thank all of you who have supported Baylor this year, whether that was by your treasure, your talent, or your time, as they say. Your generosity reflects not only the spirit of the Christmas season, but the Christian commitment Baylor is built on.
Sic ’em, Baylor supporters!
