‘Tsunami of political pressure from Baylor’ helped Big 12 stay together
One last bit on conference realignment… If you had any doubts that the Baylor Nation’s voice played a large part in the Big 12 Conference staying together, check out what Pac-10 Commissioner Larry Scott had to say about why his league’s attempt at grabbing schools from the Big 12 didn’t work:
“Number One, I think there was a tsunami of Texas political pressure from Texas A&M and Baylor.”
