Everyone says ‘Sic ’em, Bears!’ as football hosts home opener

After a big road win at Wake Forest, Baylor football tomorrow gets to play in front of the home crowd for the first time in 2009. The Bears host UConn Saturday at 4 p.m. (tickets still available, or listen live along the Baylor-ISP Sports Network) as Baylor looks to open the season 2-0.

Here at Baylor Proud, we’ve used our share of “Sic ’ems” to get folks pumped about Baylor. We’ve seen everyone from Chuck Norris to President George W. Bush, and from waitresses to babies, do their best “sic ’em.” But in honor of this year’s home opener, we’re taking it to another level, as we once again allow our pets to show their Baylor spirit. And so I present Orbit, the cat who wants to be a (Baylor) Bear.
