8 ways teachers are training up the next generation of Baylor Bears
Do you remember the first time you heard about Baylor? Maybe it was from a family member, a friend, an advertisement, or somewhere on the Internet.
For many, the first introduction to the green and gold comes from a teacher who just happened to be a Baylor Bear. Here are some of our favorite ways teachers are introducing Baylor to the next generation of Bears:
1. The first lesson for any Future Bear: Sic ‘Em 101!

My former student (and current football player for Baylor University), Verkedric Vaughns, came by to visit & bring me an autographed jersey. He spoke to my students about the importance of a good education, hard work & a positive attitude. They loved him! #MossPRIDE pic.twitter.com/vLf48ZPzFA

Students look up to their teachers — so when they see that Mrs. Smith or Mr. Jones graduated from Baylor University, and that they’re PROUD of that fact, it makes a big impact on students. Next time you meet one of these teachers, thank them for helping raise the next generation of Bears!
Sic ’em, Baylor Bear teachers!
