3 U.S. Army-Baylor grad programs ranked top-10 nationally by U.S. News

Over the last 75 years, a partnership between Baylor and the U.S. Army has educated thousands of Army officers and federal health officials — and some of these joint programs are ranked among the very best in the nation.

Since 1951, the U.S. Army and Baylor University have shared a proud heritage in health-related graduate education. Today, the partnership includes multiple graduate programs, in areas ranging from nursing to physical therapy to business. Among the program’s top offerings:

• The U.S. Army-Baylor graduate program in anesthesia nursing, which operates at the U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence at Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston, is ranked No. 3 nationally by U.S. News.
• The U.S. Army-Baylor master’s program in health care management, ranked No. 10 nationally, combines one year of teaching at Fort Sam Houston with one year of residency at sites such as the Mayo Clinic and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
• The U.S. Army-Baylor Doctor of Physical Therapy program, also ranked No. 10 nationally in U.S. News‘ latest evaluations, trains graduates to become active duty military physical therapists.
