• Start your Baylor Homecoming visit at the Hurd

Visitors do a sic 'em during Homecoming at the Hurd

Whether you’re a Homecoming regular or this is your first trip to campus in years, you’ll want to start your Baylor Homecoming experience this year at the Hurd Welcome Center.

The Hurd will serve as “Homecoming headquarters” for visitors, with Baylor staff on hand Friday and Saturday to answer questions and help you connect with school/college/campus events — plus a host of activities, photo ops, student performances and more for Bears of all ages.

On Friday, doors open at 8 a.m. (for the Hurd as well as the Baylor Spirit Shop and Varsity Coffee & Soda inside). Programming runs from 4-8:30 p.m. and includes:

    • A pop-up Vintage T-Shirt Shop (featuring classic Baylor logos)
    • Interviews with former Baylor student-athletes, current coaches, & more
    • Student performances (BU Dance Company, CaBEARet, 40 Collective, and the Best of After Dark)
    • Baylor history exhibits (curated from the collections of the Mayborn Museum, Texas Collection and Texas Sports Hall of Fame)
    • Oso Esports’ Rocket League Challenge (for kids 8+)
    • Make-and-take wrist mums and other crafts for kids
    • 2025 Homecoming Keepsake Poster Give-away

Friday night, families don’t have to choose between Homecoming and trick-or-treating. Kids of all ages can come (in costume!) for a Fall Festival along Third Street (between the Hurd and Moody Library) — featuring games, candy, prizes, photo ops, festival food, and more, all on your way to Fountain Mall for Pep Rally and Bonfire.

Food trucks will be parked outside the Hurd from 5-8:30 p.m. for visitors seeking easy dinner options, and a sensory room inside the Hurd (hosted by Baylor Center for Developmental Disabilities) will be open from 4-8:30 p.m. to provide a safe, less stimulating environment for individuals with disabilities.

The Hurd will also be open on Saturday (7-11 a.m., and again from 2:30-6 p.m. postgame). Stop by Saturday morning and grab coffee, hot chocolate, breakfast and brunch food from the food trucks outside the Hurd.

And of course, countless other Homecoming events — from Pigskin, the bonfire, parade and football game to smaller campus/departmental events — will be hosted all across campus. Check the full Homecoming schedule for a complete listing.

    Sic ’em, Homecomers!
