Forrest Frank’s energy makes for a perfect first concert at Foster Pavilion
Two takeaways from last night’s Forrest Frank concert in Waco, the first public concert in Foster Pavilion history:
1) If you get a chance to see Forrest Frank live, GO.
2) If you get a chance to see a concert at Foster Pavilion, GO.
If you’ve seen photos or video from last night, you’ve gotten a taste of how incredible the show was — and even those don’t fully do justice to the electricity that was in the building. The same design that makes Foster such a great venue for basketball makes it an excellent arena for a concert, too — from the sightlines to the acoustics.
In case you missed it — or want to relive it — here’s a taste of the evening, from opening act Claire Leslie on through the star of the night, Baylor’s own Forrest Frank (BBA ’17):

A homecoming for one of Baylor’s own:
Again — if you enjoy live music, you owe it to yourself to make it to a concert at Foster.
Next up: Christian music powerhouse Lauren Daigle on September 12 (part of Baylor’s Family Weekend). More announcements are coming soon; make sure you’re following @FosterPavilion on Facebook, Instagram and X to stay up to date.
