From Move2BU to Welcome Week to school’s start, looking back on the first week at Baylor
What a week! From Move2BU to Welcome Week and then the first day of classes, Baylor’s campus is once again buzzing with activity!
It all started last Wednesday and Thursday, when some 3,400 Baylor freshmen were helped into their new on-campus homes by a nearly equal number of student, faculty and staff volunteers — including President Livingstone!

As Move2BU wrapped up, parents said their goodbyes and students headed off to begin Welcome Week activities. Before they left, Baylor social media asked new parents what they are most excited about for their freshmen this year:
Then it was on to Welcome Week — small groups, the Spirit Rally, Church Fair, candlelight worship service, and more.

And Monday, classes began for the new school year! Roughly 20,000 students flooded campus, bringing an energy and excitement that has been missed all summer. Students took “first day” photos to send home to parents, and enjoyed free popsicles with President Livingstone.

What a week! And so much more to look forward to — first Dr Pepper Hour, Mosaic Mixer, first football game, etc. So much is happening in the first 100 days!
