• New ‘NextGen Bears’ program offers spirit boxes for Future Bears of all ages

Examples of the gear found in the Baylor NextGen spirit boxes

It might be your son or your daughter. It might be your niece, nephew or grandchild. Maybe it’s a younger cousin, your next door neighbor, or a longtime family friend.

If you know a kid who should know about Baylor — this might be the perfect way to share your love for the green and gold.

This spring, Baylor has launched a new program called “NextGen Bears.” For $50, your kid gets a special spirit box shipped right to his/her door, filled with Baylor gear designed expressly for their age.

For the littlest Bears, the box includes items such as a Baylor onesie and a stuffed Bear. Kindergarteners will enjoy gifts like Dr Pepper jelly beans and a Baylor coloring book. Older kids can get a Baylor t-shirt, pennant and duffle bag. (See each age’s spirit box collection here.) Included in the cost of each box is a gift that supports Baylor’s ongoing mission of educating men and women for worldwide leadership and service.

The special items included in each box — from the onesie on through the duffle bag — can’t be found in stores; they’re only available through the NextGen Bears program. And they won’t be available for long; orders must be placed by the end of May 2022 to receive this year’s collection of gifts.

With that, I’m wrapping up this post so I can go place the order for my kids. And maybe my sister’s kids… And perhaps our neighbors…

    Sic ’em, Future Bears!
