  • Dorm Decor 101: a BaylorProud Guide

June 13, 2021 // Posted In Just for Fun, Photo Galleries, Student life

    Two Baylor residence hall looks

Whether you live in Collins or Russell, Earle or Heritage House, your residence hall is meant to be your home away from home — and should be decorated as such!

As #BU25 prepares to make their way to Waco, we’ve rounded up some “Dorm Inspo” to help our newest Bears create the perfect space:

Make your dorm feel more like an apartment by creating space for a vanity or cooking appliances.

Adding removable wallpaper to walls, desks, and dressers will also set your room a part from others.

We know poster walls are all the rage. Make it unique by adding photos from home and pages from your favorite magazines.

Adding some greenery will definitely make your room feel more refreshing.

The higher the bed, the bigger the space. Raise up those mattresses so you can create a dedicated study space and a cozy reading nook to call your own.

Another bonus to a raised bed: more storage space!

Or — if you want to lay low, placing shelves above your bed will do, too!

Most importantly, don’t forget to show off some love for your Baylor Bears.

    Sic ’em, Bears!
