Baylor again recognized among nation’s most well-rounded curriculums
Why is Baylor annually regarded as one of the nation’s top values in private higher education? Perhaps because of the well-rounded education students receive.
Yet again in 2020, Baylor was named among the top 2% of colleges and universities nationwide when it comes to high quality core-curriculum. The university was one of 23 institutions to receive an “A” in this year’s report from the American Council of Trustees and Alumni (ACTA).
The ACTA report gave letter grades to every major public and private college and university in the U.S. — more than 1,100 in all — but only 23 required even six out of seven core subjects: composition, literature, intermediate-level foreign language, U.S. government or history, economics, mathematics, and natural science.
Sic ’em, Baylor educators!
