Baylor honored among nation’s ‘Great Colleges To Work For’ for 9th straight year
For the ninth consecutive year, Baylor University has been named one of the country’s “Great Colleges to Work For” following a nationwide survey by The Chronicle of Higher Education.
Not only is Baylor recognized among the nation’s best colleges to work for, but the survey once again has ranked BU as one of the best of the best. Baylor is one of just 10 large four-year universities to earn elite Honor Roll status, earning that honor for the second straight year and the eighth time since the survey began in 2008.
More than 56,000 people at 236 different institutions participated in the survey, which has earned the reputation as the gold standard in the higher education workplace. To determine the honorees, the Chronicle measures employee satisfaction across 12 different categories. Baylor earned top honors in 11 of them, including job satisfaction and support, work/life balance, teaching environment, confidence in senior leadership and compensation/benefits. Nationally, Baylor is one of just eight schools cited in at least 11 of the 12 measures.
Happy people shape the culture and environment of a workplace, so it’s no surprise that Baylor has earned a reputation for caring community and for faculty, staff and students committed to being the best at what they do.
Sic ’em, Bears!
