Baylor Giving Day raises more than $520,000 for BU students

Thank you, Baylor Family — you made BU’s first university-wide Giving Day a success!

In basically 24 hours, your 2,700+ gifts raised more than $520,000 in support of current and future Baylor students. (For context, that’s both more gifts and more money than TCU raised during their last giving day — because beating TCU is always fun.) Bears pitched in from 43 of 50 states nationwide, and gave to more than 100 different areas of the university.

What will that money do? It means more student scholarships, more mission opportunities, more athletics support, more building improvements… more of so many things that will improve students’ Baylor experiences.
