    2017 Baylor Christmas ornaments

The traditional colors of the Christmas season may be red and green, but if you’re like most Baylor families, chances are good that your tree contains more than a little green and gold. Last year, Baylor introduced something new for every Baylor fan’s tree, and they’re back again this year: Baylor Traditions Ornaments.

Last year saw the release of the first Baylor Traditions Ornaments. Each year sees two ornaments made available — one, the Baylor seal (which is available every year); the other, a unique collectible that changes each year. This year’s new ornament features the Judge Baylor statue in a winter hat and scarf.

You might have seen the picture that inspired it. A few years ago, when a cold spell came through Waco, an enterprising Baylor Bear fitted the Judge Baylor statue with a green-and-gold hat and scarf. Now, you can have it on your tree in the form of a limited-edition ornament.

And as a bonus, when you get your ornament, you’re also doing something good for others; each ornament is available for a $38 gift to the university, with proceeds supporting student mission trips to areas impacted by Hurricane Harvey. But don’t wait too long; this year’s ornaments are available for order only through November 30.

    Sic ’em, Bears!
