“I’m from this area, and growing up I went to sporting events before McLane Stadium was a thing. As I got older, I learned how much Baylor actually loves its students. They don’t just say they are a Baptist university; they are a Baptist university.

“I don’t think you could find the compassion you get from your instructors here at another university. I feel at another university you’re just a number, but here, you’re actually somebody. My first week, I got emails from my professors saying they wanted to meet one-on-one, just to talk to me and get to know me on a personal basis.”
