Celebrating Baylor Founders Day 2017

Baylor went all out on social media Wednesday to celebrate Founders Day 2017 — essentially the university’s birthday, commemorating the day Baylor was officially chartered in 1845 by the Republic of Texas.

An Instagram celebration first thing in the morning:

Then live video on Facebook of the McLane Carillon in Pat Neff Hall chiming the noon hour, then playing “Happy Birthday” and “That Good Old Baylor Line,” and wrapping up with live mini-tours of campus — one focused on Burleson Quadrangle detailing some Baylor history, and one looking at the much newer east side of campus (featuring East Village and the business school’s Foster Campus).

All in all, a joyous celebration of Baylor’s 172nd birthday!
