• Diadeloso 2016: Dia expands to Noche, too

Because a full day of games, concerts and competitions just wasn’t enough, Baylor’s Diadeloso expanded this year to include an evening of events the night before — the first Nochedeloso.

Monday night, students enjoyed a free crawfish boil and concert from MamaDear and Michael Ray before heading over to McLane Stadium, where Star Wars: The Force Awakens played on the stadium’s videoboard.

The traditional Diadeloso events then began bright and early Tuesday morning, starting with a Fun Run near the river and Zumba on Fountain Mall, followed by comedy and dance acts, concerts, a magician, all sorts of games and competitions (from tug-of-war to archery tag), the world’s largest cookie mosaic, camel rides and a petting zoo of exotic animals, and of course, free food and food trucks. It all wrapped up last night with a concert from Honest Men and headliner Elephante.

Special thanks to Baylor Chamber for putting on the event; these students’ hard work often goes unnoticed, and they deserve a round of applause.

    Sic ’em, Dia participants!
