What do AT&T, Oracle, Halliburton and ExxonMobil have in common?

Yes, they’re all influential international corporations. They’re also all on the Baylor campus this week looking to hire a few good Bears.

And they aren’t the only ones who know they can find talent at Baylor. Bank of America, Hershey, Goldman Sachs, Allstate and Accenture are also among the companies that see the value in hiring Baylor students and are visiting campus this fall to interview students for open positions, recruiting the next generation of leaders to their company. Dozens of such organizations partner with Baylor each year, allowing students to interview for national and international careers without ever leaving campus.

If you do a quick search for “interviews” on the Baylor calendar, you’ll find page after page filled with possibilities, including many names from the Fortune 500 list. They’re brought to Waco through Baylor’s Office of Career and Professional Development (CPD) in the Paul L. Foster Success Center, and they all see the value in seeking potential colleagues on campus. The partnership between these organizations and CPD (and the glowing endorsements from employers who “Hire A Bear” for their workforce) shows the value of a Baylor degree, even as these connections make students’ Baylor experiences all the more valuable.

So if you see a sharply dressed student strolling across campus with a sense of purpose and a resume in hand, there’s a good chance you might see him or her someday flinging their green and gold afar in a company that thought enough of Baylor Bears to come to campus to talk to them. If your company isn’t already coming to campus to tap into Baylor talent, here’s how you can help make that happen.

Sic ’em, Baylor job seekers and the companies that will hire them!
