Texas Supreme Court to convene at Baylor today
The Texas Supreme Court will convene today at Baylor’s Umphrey Law Center — a special treat for the Baylor law students who get to sit in on their proceedings.
This will be the Court’s third visit to the Law School; the judges also convened in 1998 (the first time the Court had ever sat outside of Austin in modern history) and in 2002. The Court will hear arguments on two cases and also offer memorial reflections on former Texas Supreme Court Justice Charles Wallace Barrow, who served as dean of the Baylor Law School from 1984-91.
Sic ’em, Supreme Court justices!
