Between a rock wall and a hard place

I have to admit, I’m not quite sure how it is that the McLane Student Life Center (known on-campus as the SLC, or “Slick”) turned eight years old last week, and I STILL haven’t taken a turn at climbing its 52-foot rock wall. Did you know that it’s the tallest free-standing climbing structure in the state? Now that I think about it, maybe that’s why I haven’t tried it yet.

Waco Tribune-Herald reporter Erin Quinn took a shot at the Rock recently and went to the trouble of filming her efforts for us. Now I don’t feel so bad… Take a look!
