Baylor leads Big 12 in football graduation rate — again
Sometimes it seems colleges forget that student-athletes are just that — students first, then athletes. But not at Baylor! For the sixth time in the Big 12 Conference’s 12-year history, the Bears lead the league in football graduation rate.
The latest Graduation Success Rate (GSR) numbers from the NCAA show that 84% of Baylor football players who began college between 1997-2000 graduated within six years. That number easily beat the national average of 67%.
