New Foster Campus impresses in its debut
Built just down Third Street from the President’s Albritton House and across Bagby Avenue from East Village (map), the new facility offers 40% more square footage for business school students and faculty — an increasing priority, given that about 1 in 5 Baylor students is a business major.
It was fun to walk around the Foster Campus last week and this week and watch the students who were getting their first look at the facility. We shared some first impressions and photos on Twitter last week (here, here, here, here and here), and Baylor shared photos and videos on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. See for yourself:
The project was made possible by a host of alumni and other supporters, led by El Paso business leader Paul L. Foster, BBA ’79, and his wife, Alejandra. And with the business school moving out of the Hankamer/Cashion complex, Regents have approved funds to renovate those spaces to house new tenants, including communication sciences & disorders and computer science.
Sic ’em, Baylor Business!
