• Offensive powers clash Wednesday as Bears meet Illini in 2010 Texas Bowl

When Baylor and Illinois square off Wednesday in Houston at the Texas Bowl (5 p.m. CT, ESPN), the 60,000+ fans at Reliant Stadium and the millions of viewers nationwide will see a pair of dynamic offenses.

Illinois’ primary weapon is All-American RB Mikel Leshoure, who ranks eighth nationally in rushing yards per game (averaging 126 per contest) and has recorded 17 touchdowns on the year. You already know about the Bears, of course — how Robert Griffin III has already set a new school record for passing yards in a season, and how Jay Finley needs just 34 yards to set a new BU single-season rushing record. (Read more about the individuals who helped lead the Bears to a bowl in this cover story from the newest issue of Baylor Magazine, hitting homes now.)
