• High school seniors learn the importance of visiting Baylor’s campus

Touring campusI’ve heard over and over and over again that you can’t really grasp what Baylor is about until you actually visit campus, but it’s interesting to have that confirmed in this column that ran last month in the Plainview Daily Herald. High school senior Stephanie Williams describes her visit to Baylor, writing very positively about her experience and how that visit has opened her eyes a bit to what college will be like.

The importance of visiting campus hit home yet again over the weekend, as I received several e-mails from an alumna whose high school-aged daughter visited Baylor recently. After the visit, the mother writes, “Of all the colleges my daughter visited, she was most impressed with Baylor. … Most importantly, she talked to students who all told her how much they enjoyed Baylor. … Both my daughter and husband enjoyed their visit, and the Bookstore’s economy improved with their visit!”
