• Fun with physics and Easter Peeps

    PeepsA good friend of mine LOVES Peeps, the marshmallow Easter candy; she even owns the official Peeps Marshmallow Maker. I’m not sure she could bear to see any wasted, so Betsy, don’t watch this.

    Baylor physics professor Linda Olafsen performed some simple physics tests on Peeps for the Waco Tribune-Herald to see how the treats would react when exposed to liquid nitrogen, a vacuum, lasers, and a microwave. You can see the results in this video.
