Those who get to know their professors always seem to be the ones that benefit most from their time at Baylor.<\/p>\n<p>More good advice after the jump:<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Listen to your profs.<\/strong> They really do have your best interest at heart. (<em>@mikewhitenton<\/em>)<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/mikewhitenton\"><br \/>\n<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>STUDY ABROAD!!<\/strong> Best experience of my Baylor career. Expand your worldview and absorb another culture. (<em>@pdconnell<\/em>)<\/li>\n<li>Get a seat in the front. <strong>Professors like to see that you care<\/strong> &amp; that you&#8217;re trying. Oh, and study! Works wonders. (<em>@britt_whit<\/em>)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Don&#8217;t ever wear anything from another university<\/strong>&#8230;EVER (<em>@stephenhart87<\/em>)<\/li>\n<li>Soak up every #Baylor tradition you can! You won&#8217;t realize <strong>how unique your alma mater is<\/strong> until after you graduate (<em>@MrsJ_Gray<\/em>)<\/li>\n<li>Get to know your classmates and <strong>form study groups<\/strong>! It&#8217;ll make learning and understanding the material so much easier! (<em>@cheryllmathis<\/em>)<\/li>\n<li>If you&#8217;re a male freshman&#8230;<strong>eat at Collins<\/strong> (<em>@BearVol<\/em>)<\/li>\n<li>Ladies: <strong>do NOT wear heels to class<\/strong>. We know you&#8217;re cute, but you&#8217;ll regret it later. (<em>@B_Nicholle<\/em>)<\/li>\n<li>Most important advice to Freshmen: sit on the front row, and introduce yourself to your profs! <strong>#bememorable<\/strong> (<em>@ModeMeisje<\/em>)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Don&#8217;t wear pajamas to class<\/strong>; Your future spouse might be watching and\/or judging you (<em>@BananaSkirts<\/em>)<\/li>\n<li>Get out of your comfort zone &amp; meet new people. <strong>You will never be around SO many talented and amazing peers<\/strong> at once (<em>@BmoreBeastMode<\/em>)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Take Business Math!<\/strong> No matter what field you end up in, that info will come in handy&#8230; Trust me, I was a journalism major. (<em>@lbrutledge<\/em>)<\/li>\n<li>Soak up experiences with #Waco community, too.\u00a0<strong>VOLUNTEER!<\/strong>\u00a0We&#8217;re grateful for Waco-Baylor relationship. #WinWin (<em>@MARCPets<\/em>)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Visit your professors during their office hours<\/strong>. They like students who ask questions and show an interest in their class. (<em>@MrsLaurenDykes<\/em>)<\/li>\n<li>Guys: <strong>don&#8217;t bother trying to explain Sing<\/strong> to your non-BU friends back home. Not worth it. (<em>@BoCarlton<\/em>)<\/li>\n<li>Don&#8217;t be afraid to <strong>create meaningful relationships<\/strong> with the folks around you! You&#8217;ll need a tight circle. (<em>@StoopKidSteez<\/em>)<\/li>\n<li>Optimize your class route for timely <strong>coffee\/snack pit stops<\/strong> at Starbucks and the SUB. ASAP.
